Could not execute full-text query. Please initialize the index here.

Dear All,

I am unable to view any products in PCM backoffice. When I search any product with article number all the time I am getting the same error at top the page saying "Could not execute full-text query. Please initialize the index here."

Even if I initialize the index and after it completed successfully still same error appearing. Could you please anyone help me to resolve this issue.

Hi @CHOLA - it is a common problem...the UI does not refresh automatically after initializing the full index...just change the perspective e.g. switch to Administration cockpit, access catalog there and come back to product cockpit. Now, if you select the catalog here, you will be able to see products on the right side. If you still see the orange coloured bar, just close it by clicking the X button on the right end of the bar.

Thank you Arvind for your comment. But it doesn't help me. Actually in assortment view I am ble to see the products but not in products view.

Also there is no issue in Administration mode and catelog --> Products. I can see the product and I am able to perform advance search. I am facing issue only in PCM products view.

Do you see any error in the log? If there is no error in the log, I can suggesting resetting everything using F4 > Application Orchestrator mode ( https://help.hybris.com/6.7.0/hcd/8c3dfc2486691014b115a842456ad0a5.html ). Apart from this, please make sure you have Solr search enabled in backoffice ( https://help.hybris.com/1808/hcd/33e135fe48204abc82687d4f5673951a.html )

Option 1: You can use "advanced search" (so you can search on specific fields) to perform a search. This will not use SOLR.

Option 2: You have to go to the "Backoffice Solr configuration" and make sure that the index is correctly configured. (Like endpoint is pointing to the correct server, Index is succesfull, ...)

I am facing issue only in PCM products view. I tried Backoffice Solr configuration and got index get success without any issue.
