Content Studio: Adding Video - SAP Marketing Cloud

Dear Colleagues,

After some research can't find a clear answer about the possibility of adding videos when creating email content in the Content Studio of SAP Marketing Cloud. Is it possible? If it is, how this should be performed?

Any help / hint will be much appreciated!

Dear Gerard llatjos, Tobias Schneider,

You should do as follow and it will work.

1. Go to the YouTube video you want to embed.
2. Under the video, click SHARE Share.
3. Click Embed.
4. From the box that appears, copy and paste the HTML code.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/D1dTAV_eJ7U" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Hi Jose, sorry I only meant it works in SAP Marketing Cloud and the error message no longer shown.

I think at the moment that is the only approach to embed videos.

since <iframe> is not supported by Gmail and most versions of Outlook, what approach are you using to embed videos in your emails?

have you tried it using an iFrame?

In the past I know it worked e.g. using this:

For example: <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1dTAV_eJ7U" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen="" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"></iframe>

But I just tried and now I get an error message that the connection to youtube isn't working.

Not sure if this is the planned behavior and if it would be a solution for you at all.
