Contacts upload not showing under import data and in the contacts app

Hi Experts ,

I have all standard users created based on the catalogs and fiori roles as mentioned in the standard guide. In the import app and in the contact app , i am not not able to find the upload/import contacts .

Any thing i am missing ?

Hi Kunal,

As explained to Tobias also , I am able to see import app .I can see every object there except the contacts .

Hi Rashmi,

could you please confirm that your user has the role SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR_MKT assigned with the catalog SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_IMP_PC.

I can see all other objects to import except the contacts.

So if I understand right you're just missing that one.. that's really strange.

I'm also using the standard roles and have just checked it again in my system that it works.

I don't know if it is possible to restrict the import authorization. Maybe you have to open a support ticket to let an expert check that in your system.

Sorry that I can't help further.. But I'm really interested in the solution, so it would be great to let us know here if and how the problem is solved.

What was a solution here? We are having the same problem in one of our systems. "Contacts" are not showing up under "Data Management". Under "Contacts" we have an option to upload a file from there, but there we are getting an error without any explanation. No traces in the system that something somewhere has failed.

Hello Rashmi,

Try to go to 'Contacts' app under Contacts and Profile. You may find the 'import' button with the corresponding .csv file template:
