Contact Upload - SMC

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to upload contacts into SMC using CSV file upload. contacts.jpg In the csv file there is CorporateAccount Id and CorporateAccountOrgin, Do we need to use the Id and IdOrgin from the account csv file accounts.jpg? if yes then the process we need to follow is always upload accounts first and then upload contacts?

If there is no CorporateAccountid and CorporateAccountOrgin then contacts are still created but without link to accounts right?

Hi Venu,

yes, the scenario works exactly as you described 🙂

In addition, instead of filling the fields of CorporateAccountId and CorporateAccountOrigin, you could fill the CorporateAccountName field if you did not create an Account before but want to have at least the Information of the name of the Corporate Account the Contact is working for. With this information it is possible to create B2B leads in SAP Sales Cloud without having a real Corporate Account in SMC.
