Contact creation from Postman

I am checking contact creation in C4C from 3rd party tool before that I would like to check the same Odata connection and contact creation in C4C from Postman.

Is there any documentation available setup connection between Postman and C4C for contact creation and Update?

The above blog is for Batch Call. But, steps were given for connecting the C4C system with POSTMAN.

Any particular reason for using POSTMAN?

Using OData Service Explorer in C4C would be a lot easier.
