Contact Center DB Virtual Unit can't create data base on SQL server

Hello! I have a problem with instalation new test system.

What i've already made :

1.Check Prerequisits

2.Check user setting on server and in SQL

3.Check Settings in Virtual Unit

Well... That log snap doesn't tell too much. It only says that connection to SQL failed. Obviously you are copying the training material example and one to one copy is not recommended.

Based on that log your SQL instance is named as "MSSQLS". If you open your management studio and try connecting to "CC03SQL\MSSQLS" does it work?

Could I also ask what version you are trying to install? I can see that it's not the latest one. The question is only how old? Would of course recommend taking newest one.

Hi Afiansys,

There could be several reasons for that issue Mikhail reported. Most likely the user did not have enough rights at the DB side (systadmin). But your problem could be different.

Take a look at the following KBAs:

• 2872178 - OSQL failure when installing databases for Contact Center FP14 (MSSQL2016/17)
• 2827925 - Errors upgrading Contact Center Databases to FP14
• 2272341 - SAP Contact Center cannot populate the Reporting database in IA

Also check the DB installation logs to see if it is trying to use the correct SQL driver. The Reporting Database Server connection strings should be using "ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server".

Hi Mikhail.

Are you getting at the time of import action? on the target system are you have admin privilege to create the DB?
