Connection using webdispatcher to SAP ecc

hi, i am having troubles configuring Webdispatcher,

I will use this to connect my c4c-hci-webdispatcher-sap on premise

I have installed and configured the webdispatcher in Linux servers, those linux servers are in my company's DMZ, and we own the domain, let's say "mydomain.com",

The vendor doing this configuration configured and installed the webdispatcher through the hostname, they use https://hostname.myinternaldomain.com, until here everyhting was fine,

When it comes to have that webdispatcher receiving packages from internet(c4c), the vendor has requested the following:

In the public DNS, they want me to publish my internal server name, and use hostname.mydomain.com; i do not want to publish my internal server name, so what can i do?

I have proposed to publish: proposedURL.mydomain.com, but i do not know what other configurations the vendor must do in the webdispatcher so the petitions from internet towards this address are gotten by the webdispatcher and send them over my SAP on Premise inside my local network.
