Connecting SAP Marketing Cloud with Power BI

Dear all,

I would like to know the possibilities of connecting SAP Marketing Cloud to an external BI tool, in this case Power BI.

I've been able to connect an onpremise SAP Marketing to Power BI in the past (Power BI can connect to HANA databases), but will the same be possible with the Cloud version?

(Before anyone sais that we can use SAC, yes we know but all other reporting is on Power BI so it needs only one BI tool that combines all data).

I already found that Power BI can connect to oData services.

However all SAP Marketing Cloud oData services that I know of require the use of the TOP parameter; and that parameter is limited to 5000 maximum...

so https://<Server>/sap/opu/odata/sap/API_MKT_CONTACT_SRV/Contacts?$top=5000 does work to get some data but cannot go higher than 5000...

we do have in parts already a solution available for this, please refer to the following blog https://blogs.sap.com/2019/11/12/extract-data-from-marketing-for-use-in-external-analytics-solutions..., and we have put this requirement on our product roadmap for 2020.

Yes, it is possible with limitation as of now. Would recommend you to submit an idea.

We are seeing opportunity and working on various integration topic, so submitting an idea would be better approach.
