Dear experts,
we are planning a go-live which also involves some inbound communications steps via web service in C4C.
Actually we already wanted to prepare already all necessary communication settings (e.g. communication arrangements with according certificate settings).
Is there any possibility to temporarily disable inbound communication settings to avoid that a web service request is accidentally done by the sender system?
Ideal approach would be to have everything in place in the C4C production system and just activate / enable communication during go-live.
Another question is if a communication / connectivity test incl. authorization from the sender system would be possible without impacting any production business scenarios?
The communication is direct so there is no middleware (CPI / PI) involved where we could disable communication.
Thank you for your advice!

Dear Florian,
Simplest way to achieve is to just edit the integration user credentials in the C4C Communication Arrangement, so that if at all any message is sent to C4C it would fail with unauthorized error. Since its just the authentication which fails, technically your connection is still fine, so ping test should give you 500 internal server error.

Hi ,
You can uncheck the outbound as well as inbound communications .
Also withing Inbound communication , you can enable or disable the service.
