Commerce Cloud: Create cx recipe accelerator store in Public Cloud

Hello

I have setup a local install of Commerce Cloud 2011 using the cx recipe. I can access the electronics store without any problem.

I have tried now to setup this exact same environment in the public cloud, but have failed to do so.

  1. Is there a sample manifest.json that will simply create the exact same store from the cx recipe? I looked at the Learning Hub C4H340 documentation, but the URL to sample manifest.json files there ( https://help.hybris.com/scc/pcd/768f63502aee41fd9ca878dfbe6b8936.html ) is not working.
  2. Can I re-use localextensions.xml from my local install, or do I need to customize it first?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi David,

I'm not aware of the option to run a recipe directly in the cloud. Recipes are more intended to help to start off quickly with your local environment by generating the configuration files. Once you setup your local environment by using a recipe, you need to make the directory structure compatible with the cloud and create a manifest.json file that can reference you local config like local.properties and localextensions.xml files.

Here is SAP's git repository with the configuration samples. Different branches contain different configuration samples.
