Code List Restrictions - Two Control Fields

Hi all,

Is it possible to have more than one control field when setting Code List Restrictions? If not, how could the following be achieved.

• Our use case concerns the lead object where we would like the status to default to 'Qualified' when the category is equal to 'Web Registration' and the Country is equal to 'USA'.

Hi bradnmursell,

It is not possible to use two fields in CLR as control fields. For now, you can achieve this using workflow to auto set the status.

With 2011 release there is a phased release feature to default field values based on UI rules.

This Default Value Rule will override any other logic in place Ex: will override CLR, Extension Scenario , SDK Script Determination, Application logic etc. • Applies only in Quick Create UI

This feature can be enabled based on customer request/use case. You can request the same via an incident to C4C support.
