Dear Colleagues,
We are working on an implementation of SAP Customer Checkout for a customer that will have POS systems in different countries and that will work with SAP Customer Checkout Manager as a backend system.
We are defining new elements for return reasons, discount purpose and quantity type code lists. We would like to know if it is possible to maintain translations for the descriptions of these elements.
We see that, for the elements provided by SAP, the descriptions are shown based on the language selected in settings, but we could not find a way to define these translations for new elements.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards.

Dear teresa_mav,
We have KBA 2733478 which describes step-by-step what you need to do. Based on that KBA I will provide an example for maintaining the discount purpose in a different language.
In the English UI you have a new discount purpose code 6000 "Discount English", which is also set as a default
In your CCO installation folder C:\SapCustomerCheckout\cco\translations you enter the new code translation in the file of the desired language, in this example German is in userDefinedTranslations_de.properties
After a restart of CCO you log on with a user in the target language and get this result
For CCO manager this works very similar. Your corresponding translation files are contained in folder C:\SAP\CustomerCheckout Central Server\translations.
Kind regards,
Gunther

Dear Gunther,
Thank you so much for this information. I have checked it and have been able to do some translations for unit code values so far.
Also, our customer has the requierement to translate the description of the article groups, since the same group of articles will be used in different countries, but I have not found this entity available for translation. ¿Could you please confirm it this can be done and how?
Thank you very much and best regards,
