Change / Update Email for user registered with Lite registration in CDC

I am able to change the Email Id for Full Registration, how to implement the same for Lite Registration.I want to update the Email Id for a User registered with Lite Registration..

Actually, I wanted to know, if there is an alternative way to update the email id. The users does not want to re-register with a new ID, they want to update the existing one
I tried to update it via Rest Api accounts.setAccountInfo.. but it did not work..

Hi,

Email associated to a lite account cannot be updated. The alternative is to create a new lite account (and potentially delete the existing account).
