Change Implementation Project in Status Tested on Production Tenant

Hi experts,

We had our C4C/SAP Sales Cloud project in the status Tested when I requested for the production tenant with solution profile copy. Therefore the "First Implementation Project" is in status Tested in PROD as well as TEST.

Now requirements have changed and I'd like to change the scoping (activate/deactivate language support).

What is the recommended approach to getting these adjustments on to PROD?

Do I have to first close all the activities in the "First Implementation Project" on PROD (so basically go-live) before I can create a change project, which I then copy to the TEST tenant where I apply the scoping changes and afterwards merge them back to PROD?
