CCO Receipt Parking Concerns

Hello Support Team,

We came across a strange behavior when we park receipt on one machine (sales) and complete it on another machine (cashier)


Configuration
- CCO manager installed
- Central receipt parking activated
- SBO is the backend

Scenario
- Sales rep sell goods to customers then park receipts
- Sales rep print the parked receipt and give to customer
- Cashier scan the parked receipt barcode to retrieve it on screen and complete the sale

Issue
- Sometimes when the cashier scans the receipt we got an error (item not found) >> this is a standard behavior if the receipt we scan is not found in the parked receipt list, CCO looks for item code or barcode/GTIN
- However, the receipt already found in the parked list
- The scan works only (in this case) when we open the parked list (down/right) then scan, the scanner fetch the receipt and add it to sales screen normally
- This happens frequently not always
- One cashier may have the issue and at the same time another cashier may not


Inquiry
- Is there any option to immediately remove the parked receipt from the list when we complete the sale (collect the money from customer)
- Currently, the list contains too many receipts (95% of them already closed)

Hi Mohamed,

Is there any information in the CCO log files when you scan the receipt ID?

When the receipt is paid/posted, the receipt ID should be removed from the park receipt list. It is the expected system behavior.
What is the version (FP and PL)of the SAP Customer Checkout?
What is the version (FP and PL)of the SAP Customer Checkout manager?

Hi Anderson,

Not sure about the log. Will check and feedback soon.

This is the case when we park and complete the receipt on the same machine (without activating central receipt parking).
When we activate central receipt parking, it's not the case (even with paid/posted receipts).
CCO version: SAPCUSCHK10_4-70001338
CCOM version (the same): SAPCUSCHKSVR10_4-70001339

Hi Mohamed,

Try to run the Receipt synchronization in all CCO and check if the list is cleared.

Hi anderson.schmitt,

Even after activating the auto receipt sync (cron expression every 10 minutes) on all POS terminals, the parking list is not affected (keeps growing).
Is this a standard CCO behavior?

Hi anderson.schmitt and all,

Update: After activating central receipt parking along with central receipt management & fetching receipts the parked list across all linked terminals has been removed after posting receipts.
