Hi team,

As per user manual and example of setting up Epson POS receipt printer TM-88IV, I ad setup printer. I got health check done successfully. But when I tried to activate entry under Hardware/PlugIns, I am getting error message which is attached herewith.

Not sure what is the issue as whole setup is done according to user manual.

Hi Mateus,

It was the same in my case. It did get resolved after I copied .jar files from Epson installation lib folder to checkout installation lib folder.

Thanks

Hi Gunjan,

thanks that actually resolved my issue as well. Sadly this still is not mention in the latest Installation Guide....

Hi josh12b,

If something is missing in our guide then I can try to get this added or have it documented in some other format (KBA). Can you let me know what exactly?

Best regards,

Gunther

Hi Gunjan,
based on the error reported, the logical name of the printer is not correct or does not match the name from the JPOS.xml.
Please, review the 2 files at the path: C:\SapCustomerCheckout\cco\POSPlugins\HW: jpos.xml JPOSPlugin.properties
The logical name of the printer in the jpos.xml must be copied and entered identically in the JPOSPlugin.properties in line hardware.posPrinter.name=
Please, let me know if this solves your issue, if so, kindly select my answer as "Right Answer".

Mateus
