No, this is not correct. In SAP Hybris, Categories can contain both products and subcategories simultaneously.

• Categories in Hybris are hierarchical structures that allow you to organize products and subcategories.
• A single category can:
  • Contain products directly assigned to it.
  • Have subcategories, which can themselves contain other subcategories or products

Category can technically have any of these combinations:

• Category (Supercategory, Subcategory). See CategoryCategoryRelation.
• Product. See CategoryProductRelation.
• Category (Supercategory, Subcategory), Product.
• No Category, No Product.
