Catalog synchronization is very slow using Oracle 12.1.0.2 in Hybris 6.6

Hi,

We are experiencing slowness in catalog Synch in Oracle 12.1.0.2. We did catalog synch using the HSQL db and Oracle. Sychronization in HSQL is 3 times faster than using Oracle.

We are using Hybris 6.6 . Is Oracle 12.1.0.2 compatible with the hybris version we have? Have anyone encountered the same issue as ours?

Yes its compatible, the performance difference with HSQL can be explained by the fact that it's local DB sitting in memory of you hybris instance whereas Oracle instance is sitting somewhere in your network and you should investigate the whole stack in order to understand possible bottleneck(s)
