Cannot Import/Activate standard Calculation View of SAP Marketing Cloud

Dear Experts,

I exported the View Definition for CA_C_ALL_INTERACTIONS including the related views.

After that I import the files in the SAP HANA Web-based Development Workbench Editor. All of the needed tables have been created before without any errors (using the included table_def.txt).

All of them work fine except the CA_C_ALL_INTERACTIONS.

Trying to import that Calculation View it returns the following error message:

Error while activating /sap/hana-app/cuan/contact/profile/calculationviews/CA_C_ALL_INTERACTIONS.calculationview:[sap.hana-app.cuan.contact.profile.calculationviews:CA_C_ALL_INTERACTIONS.calculationview] Repository: Encountered an error in repository runtime extension;Repository problem. Empty XML read from Repository for Dimension URI /sap.hana-app.cuan.contact.profile/calculationviews/CA_D_TOP_PRODUCT_INTERACTIONS

The calculation view is shown but as you can see it is not activated. When I try to activate it, I get the same error like before. The CA_D_TOP_PRODUCT_INTERACTIONS which is named in the error message has been imported correctly.

When I click on the calculation view to load it I get the message:

Does anybody have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

BR Tobias

Hi schneidert,

I tried same in 2005 internal system and couldn't reproduce the issue.

Can you export the view again and import in Web IDE and try again once?

If you still face issue, reason may be there is missing required schema in your system. Share your test result with us.

best regards,

Hi kunalkumar.bansal,

I'm still facing the same issue. I even created a new Database.

I created schemes ABAP, SAP_CUAN_CRM and SAPHANADB (not sure if this one is really needed, but it is mentioned in the calculationview file) and created all the necessary tables in the schemes.

All of the exported views are created and activated successfully except the CA_C_ALL_INTERACTIONS view. Error message stays the same.

Any ideas on this how to analyze further?

Hello Tobias,

I see you already have created an incident with SAP and it's with development.

As you know are already aware of new way of modelling in this new blog and KBA 2891625.

As a known issue, the code solution cannot be provided here, you can close this thread.

Best Regards,

Kunal
