At the final step of Day-End Closing (Day-end closing cash-out) I cannot set an amount, meaning that all cash must be cashed-out or retained depending which fromAmount to be Cashed OutandAmount to Remainis selected. The system is set up to useCentral Drawer Management. The issue is tested for users with roles ADMINISTRATOR and CASHIER.
Which setting would allow users to set a cash amount to retain or cash-out as relevant?
Thanks

Hello igrech,
See this extract from the SAP Customer Checkout configuration guide (https://help.sap.com/viewer/71570024ae3843f08a10d68054192d3d/2.0.12/en-US/3cee66609f114b84a6e8d5f1eb...😞

I hope it helps.
Best regards,
Gunther

Hi Gunther,
Thank you for your response. I did see that entry however it is not clear if the Amount can be modified or not with 'Remaining Amount'. At this point this is fixed to '0', meaning all cash needs to be cashed-out. I need to leave an amount of money in the drawer for the next day.
Thank you
Ian
Hi igrech,
When central drawer management is ON, in the final step of the day-end closing you cannot make any changes to the Amount to remain. This works as expected:

An option for you is perhaps to activate the flag Force a cash-in if there is no cash amount after a day-end closing like shown here:

Then a cashier cannot start the new day without an initial cash-in.
Best regards,
Gunther
