Cannot add mashup in Page Layout

Hi,

I cannot find an option to assign a mashup to a screen in page layout. I can do this in the master layout but not on the page layout. I tried multiple SAP blogs and get mixed answers. Some say its not possible to assign via page layouts. Some say it is possible. Any thoughts on whether this is really possible or not with page layouts?

Hi,

A mashup cannot be just assigned in Page Layout because page layout inherits objects from the master layout. Hence you need to :

1. Create a mash up
2. Add it to master layout and mark it as Visible/Invisible.
3. Then go to Page out adaptation and then change the visibility based on your need.
4. Finally, assign the page layout from step 3 to the Business role.
