Can we still edit a Transferred Sales Order from C4C to S4 or ECC?

Hi - Is it possible for C4C to still edit transferred orders if the status is still Open/In Progress?

Or this can only be done via VA02 in S4 or ECC?

Cheers,

Marc

Hi @mracantonius1

It very much depends on the integration flow you're using and the fact you're using S/4 HANA in cloud version or not. However, the capability of C4C to edit transferred orders is generally limited and may be restricted based on the integration settings or middleware, and it primarily depends on the status and the integration setup. Complex changes, especially around the item-level details or pricing, typically require backend intervention in S/4HANA or ECC using transaction VA02.

Can you provide more details about your integration scenario?

Hi Robert - it's mostly on Open/In Process tickets only. Orders that aren't processed yet before the cut-off times. We are currently using S4 HANA on premise and we are using standard integration.

Hi Marc, Thanks for your reply. The standard integration setup from C4C to S/4HANA OP follows the standard process where C4C is used for order creation and customer management, but once the order is transferred, S/4HANA takes over for detailed order management, including edits. Minor changes in orders that are not processed will be possible. But that's it, as far as I know. I hope it helps!
