Can we send an email with attachment using cronjob

Can we send a csv file in email using cronjob.Please suggest the better approach for doing this.

Hi - I just realized that the link in my answer to which has pointed you has become dead. I will check with about it. I had written the answer when I was in my previous company and the admin disabled my old account recently and probably, it is the reason it has become dead. Unfortunately, I do not recall the exact link that I had hyperlinked with the word, this.
