Can we not use HMC from hybris version 6.7?

Hi Experts,

Is hybris not available from version 6.7? Is there any way I can still use hmc with Hybris commerce version 6.7?

No You cannot, Hybris deprecated HMC since version 6.6. There was an option in version 6.6 to use HMC but that option is revoked in 6.7

I am not 100% sure if there is some tweak, haven't come across yet.

As Saurabh already mentioned, the short answer is: YES! .... YES, you cannot use hmc from 6.7 on.

Long answer: hmc is already announced as deprecated since 6.0 (not 6.6, ), see https://help.hybris.com/6.0.0/hcd/1d39a22aaf6d4e3da5f26212a3d957ad.html#loio57fd8bb3de164cdd8ea4d16a... However, all the latest releases still contained a maintained version of hmc. Version 6.6 is the latest version that contained an official release of hmc. From 6.7 onwards, you could try to just use the 6.6. release of the hmc, but:

• you do this on your own risk

• you will not get support for this

• most likely this will not work (at least not on a long term) as the 6.6 hmc probably relies on some code/API/data model that changes over time.

So, hmc is a dead end (and more or less was since his EOL announcement in 6.0) Just dont put effort on thinking about how to use it. Use your capacity to migrate to the backoffice. :-)

I can confirm that 6.6 hmc extensions are still working with hybris 6.7.0.0.

By the way, hmc loads a lot faster than backoffice.

Thanks everyone for your inputs/answers. I have fair idea now. And yes, life will be easier if I accept the fact that HMC is no more and stdjusting with backoffice! :-)

The correct questions is why would you use HMC with hybris 6.7 ? 🙂 Backoffice is really nice now, better to get everyone using it instead.

HMC is not availiable since 6.0.
