Can SAP Digital Payments Add-on be customised to integrate with Adyen or any other PSPs?

I noticed SAP Digital Payments Add-on has out of the box adapters for a number of Payment Service Providers (PSPs)

My question is it possible integrate Adyen payments or any other Payment Provider with SAP Digital Payments Add-on through configuration or customisation?

I think we are your answer because we are partnering with Adyen and enabled a certified connection between S/4HANA and Adyen through DPAO.
