Can SAP Commerce Migration Tool Kit be used for the database migration from CCV1 to CCV2?

I have done some searches on this topic, but I am not getting a clear picture if the above scenario can be handled by CMT.

Yes, it can be used for this purpose. I did a migration from CCv1 to CCv2 with the toolkit last year. Worked very well. You need additional support from HCS.

HCS needs to set up an appropriate VPN connection between the cloud environments. Additionally, need to create appropriate database users. Also, HCS needs to create a media zip for each environment and make the zip available via an SFTP server. The connection data for the database and SFTP can all be set up in the toolkit via Properties.
