Can I make the radius smaller than the values described in the documentation?

Dear Emarsys Mobile Engage Experts,

I would like to configure geofences. According to the documentation, the minimum radius should be set to 100m for Android and 50m for iOS.

Is it possible to make the radius smaller?

Yes and no (sorry!)

It is possible to set the radius to a smaller distance, however, the minimum recommended radius settings are provided by platforms themselves and results may not be accurate if set to smaller distances. This is outside of Emarsys's control.

You can test this to see what happens with a smaller radius, but our recommendation would be to stick with that the providers suggest.
