campaign templates independent from marketing area

Hello everyone,

our customer has requests that campaign templates should be accessable to all marketing areas. The idea behind that is, that if one of the marketing areas (we create them per business unit & country) launches a successfull campaign, this campaign should be used as a template for other campaigns in other countries.

Is there are way to realize this? We were looking for a way similar to the custom logic for allowed marketing areas (e.g. marketing categories for campaigns), but we couldn't find something for campaigns and campaign templates.

As per my experience and knowledge, it is not possible due to fact 'Implications of Activating Marketing Areas in Campaign Execution'

I have seen this requirement a couple of times in the past. So far I am not aware about any workaround.

You are not allowed to move one object in between different marketing areas.

I would appreciate, if you could raise your request in the SAP Influence tool here. The tool allows you to directly influence the backlog of the product.
