Hi Experts
A query on the change of status of campaigns from MKT to C4C.
When the campaign is stopped, the Stopped status travels to C4C, but I see that when the campaign reaches its validity period, this in MKT changes to Finished, but that status is not updated in C4C.
Is it a problem in MKT, is it configuration in MKT, is it settings in CPI, or could it be a fault in C4C?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
There are 2 types of status available for the campaign in SMC. One is Campaign Life Cycle Status whereas the other is Campaign Execution Status.
Campaign life cycle status is related to overall campaign lifecycle like "In Preparation", Stopped, Released etc. Whereas Execution Status is related to a campaign run like Failed,Finished etc.
What you see in the C4C system is always the life cycle status. So in a way system is behaving correctly because life cycle status only should be known to the external system. You will not find execution status to be replicating to C4C.
And as far as I see, only lifecycle status is available in CPI. So i really doubt that you will be able to influence this behaviour via just mapping.

Thank you very much for the information. saurabhkabra2009
Well in that context MKT only sent the Lifecycle status to C4C: Preparation, Stopped, Released"
I have a question: The campaign is assigned an effective date range, from 12-08-2020 ... to 12-09-2020.
When arriving at 12-09-2020, MKT marks it as finished, status does not travel to C4C, it would be necessary to manually change to Stopped, a status that in theory if it travels to C4C.
My concern is that it is a manual task that would have to be made a user and that because for him it would not be well seen.
Best regards
Elio C.

Hello,
As I already explained in my last comment above, "Finished" is not a life cycle status but the execution status. And since execution status is not part of the outgoing payload of campaigns from SMC. therefore it does not matter if you mark the campaign manually or not. In any case, the execution status of the campaign will not be transferred to the sales system. Only lifecycle status will be transferred.
