Campaign Flow with split for 2 mail buttons

Hi,

I have a campaign flow, that starts from an email that has 2 buttons.

Simplified:

I then want to set a campaign, which will send different follow-up emails, depending if someone clicked on button 1 or on button 2.

I set up the flow like this:

However, the branches don't seem to exclude eachother 😞

For example the red case:

if I click on both buttons, I get two mails.

But also the purple case: if I click on button 1, and I don't click on button 2,

I also get two mails (the not-clicked branches also end in another email)...

Though I read in the documentation that once you start in one branch, you can't end up in another branch anymore.

But unfortunately that doesn't seem to apply in parallel branches :'(

So, anyone who has an idea on how I can correctly set up my case?

(I thought about filter conditions on the emails... however that is extremely complicated to explain to the marketeers who actually need to set up the flow)

Hi Joyca,

Hope you're well.

I understand your use-case well and there's no other way I too can think of other than filter conditions (indeed complicated for marketeers).

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Kunal

Oh :'( That's a pity...

Do you know if Emarsys could set up such a case easily?

vervinckt.joyca- Yes, Emarsys can handle this scenario; I must say that Emarsys has strong capabilities in terms of B2C personalizations.

I will share a screenshot tomorrow here, keep watching this space.

ok, and then you'd use those segments based on the link click behavior, on cascading filter switches, like this?
