Hi all, may I ask anyone out there who has worked on the above, the following questions?
My company's system & business scenario:
Deployed SAP Hybris C4S solution with standard integration to backend SAP ECC6 on-premise. Wish to enhance solution with automatic/manual override of technician assignment to work tickets (based on availability, qualifications) with escalation workflow capability as well.
I understand that C4S 'Resource Scheduler' work center is an in-build functionality (at no extra cost) that comes with standard C4S solution. Whereas MRS is a separate add-on that will need to be purchased + apply development/configuration to integrate with ECC/C4S. Correct?
Looking at the SAP notes/help, it seems that C4S 'Resource Scheduler' just has the capability to allow resource manager to monitor/drag/drop resources into a graphical gantt chart but does not have the capability to check on the technician's availability/qualifications via backend maintenance of resources or leave/qualification infotypes in ECC backend. Is my understanding correct?
Any other key differentiators between the 2 that will influence the customer in deciding which option to go for?
