C4C What are your expieriences with Registered Product Replication to External System

Hi,

The communication arrangement

Registered Product and Installation Point Replication to External System, is meant to replicate registered product data to an external system and holds the web service RegisteredProductReplicationOut. It seems as if no standard CPI iFlow is available for Registered Product changes to ECC. Can anybody confirm that it does not exist or that we have to built our own?

In documentation the replication of equipments to ECC is qualified as being partial, indicated by a 1/2 arrow in the graph, but i cannot find details on what can be understood exactly by 'partial' / which part?

If among others attributes are included in the partial replication; the attributes by the way replicate perfectly in both directions!

Any additional info on the manuals, tips and experiences are welcome!

Hi Marie,

SAP Has delivered the Communication Arrangement for outbound processing for Registered product but not the iFlow. You have to crete your own iFlow ( Customized one ) and create your own IDoc or Web service in ERP. You can use the standard Equipment Idoc in ERP and convert it to WSDL file. your HCI developer will use this WSDL file in the customized IDoc and map the fields from C4C to ERP Fields. We have did this iFlow and went successfully.

Thank you for confirming. I indeed ativated the communication arrangements and found out that there is no prepackaged integratipn mapping content.

Do you know if this is an item for the roadmap?

There is no prepackaged content here, as the relevant interfaces on ERP are missing to handle inbound update requests. Hence C4C Product Team has delivered outbound services for consumption.

The 1/2 arrow from C4C->ERP indicates there is an Outbound Communication Arrangement available to replicate the respective Business Object from C4C->ERP upon a Change/Create.

However it does not contain a prepackaged integration mapping content in CPI or PI systems, and it would have to be taken up as a custom development in middleware.

And what about the measurements?

If measurments are done at customer site and registered on registered product in Service Cloud, are the replicated to ECC like attriubtes or not. For that proces prepackaged integration mapping content in CPI seems to be available?
