Hi Experts,
We are in the process of implementing C4C. The challenge is that most of the business users that comes with CRM experience have been working in Salesforce before and is voicing that salesforce provides better functionality than C4C.
Anyone that ahs a good comparison of functionalities between C4V and Salesforce or any other material that has help address similar questions from users?
Request clarification before answering.
Thank you Ben, for the quick feedback.
Unfortunately, we are in the early stages, and the agreement/buy-in is not final, with the possibility that the tool selection can go both ways. The preferred direction is C4C, but there is significant business doubt on the C4C capabilities vs Salesforce, so I am really looking for some strong arguments/benchmarks that can position C4C.
Does anyone have a capability comparison of C4C vs Salesforce? - My understanding is that both solutions can do the job. They might do it a little differently, but both products cover the functional areas.
Looking at the Gartner NMagic quadrant, Salesforce has been the continuously undisputed market leader, while C4C has declined in score since 2020 and is now falling out of the top quadrant. Does anyone have a view on this? Is this a factual assessment from Gartner?
Thank you so much all

Hi Jan, there was a similar opinion at my company when it was decided to implement SAP C4C some 7 years ago now. I assume, as you're already in the process of implementation, it's already decided/agreed to go with SAP Sales Cloud right? If so, are you going with the latest Version 2?
If the decision to implement SAP Sales Cloud rather than Salesforce (or any other CRM provider)...then speaking from experience it's critical that this decision (strategy, vision etc...) is clearly communicated across the areas of the business impacted by this change and ensure you identify business stakeholders e.g. business owners/managers, SMEs/Super Users etc... that are ready to champion the change and willing to engage/support a successful implementation.
I joined my current company mid-way through their SAP C4C roll out across Europe. One thing that was apparent to me from the start is that there was a significant gap between the business strategy & future vision of CRM vs the functionality the system could offer at that time. As a result rolling out & increasing business adoption was indeed challenging at first.

Hope there is some useful info here for you.
Good luck with your implementation.
