C4C - Validation Rule

Hi All,

I have to create a rule based on the item fields. In the rule editor only header fields are visible. How do I get the line item fields in the rule editor.??

Note: I checked in the debugging mode, but in details - Binding information is blank.

Hi Riyu,

Look at this blog, with debugMode you can obtain the field name for using in validation rules. I found it works slightly but not a 100% as the rule doesn't know which line until you click on the line it is validating, then the message(warning type in my case), would disappear.

As of now only header fields are available for the validation rules and you can not use the item fields for same. The alternative would be you need to use the SDK to achieve your requirement.
