Solved: C4C transport management

Hello experts,

I have couple of questions, I hope I will get answers here.

1. I have created and transported adaptation changes to prod system in the past. Now I have modified these changes one more time. should I transport these last changes or should I make it in prod system manually ?

2. how the changes made from the "Business configuration > activity list" are transported to productive systems ?

Hi Sandro,

1. Additional adaptation changes in the TEST tenant should be transported again. If you make the changes in Production tenant manually the two tenants would not be aligned.

2. Activity changes/configurations should be "transported" with Change Projects(CP). In a nutshell, you create a change project in PROD system, send system config to TEST, in TEST you add the activities in the CP, perform testing. Then a simulation of the merge and finally you merge the changes to PROD.
