C4C SSI & shared mail boxes

Dear Sir/Madam, I need a detailed description why shared mailboxes cannot be used like personal mailboxes in connection with the Outlook add-in and emails in shared mailboxes. If some technical or license related descriptions are available it would be helpful.

The usage of shared mailboxes is not officially supported. Here's some info for your reference.
