C4C (SAP Hybris) number ranges

Hi,

We are currently trying to replicate employees from Successfactors to C4C. When we tried to replicate the employees with 8 digit employeeId, it gave us an error saying "Enter an employee ID between 1 and 6999999"

I checked in the fine tuning task: "Number Ranges for Employees and Service Agents" where the number range is set.

Unfortunately, I'm neither able to add this task to the scope nor able to edit the number range.

My questions are:

1. Is it allowed to change this number range?

2. If so, how can we change these default number range?

3. What exactly need to be enabled in the project scope in order to get the range to be open for edit? I have enabled General Business Data -> Employee & Service Agents.

Looking forward for a solution for this issue.

you wont be able to add new activity in FT it is expected behaviour

Thanks for getting back. I did go through these articles. They give an overview of the updating the number ranges. However, I’m not able to add the activity ‘Number ranges for Employee and Service agents’ to the scope, so that I can update the number ranges.

Any idea, why I’m not able to add to the scope? Am I’m missing anything?
