C4C - Registered Registered: Restrict creation

Dear SAP Community,

our requirement is to allow users to change existing registered products (which are replicated from SAP ERP) but to restrict creating new ones.

There seems to be no option to make this possible compared to other objects (customers, leads, quotes, activities...)

We removed all "New" buttons from UI, but it is still possible from Home Page.

Any idea?

It is not possible to adapt the button or the window n Home page . The create menu in home page reflects the users' assigned work centres, disregarding any objects for which the create action was disabled via business role under Fields and Actions facet

i know - that how it works for all of the object except registered product since you can't disable creating registered products in Fields and Action facet.

Can you comfirm this?

Yes this option to disable cretion is not provide in feidls and actions as of now , may be this can go as a new requirement.
