C4C Pop-up / OVS filter? - Populate sold to party based on ship to party entered

Greetings

I have a requirement to populate sold to party based on ship to party entered (Sales Quote). However, in some cases, there may be multiple sold to party for that ship to party. In those cases we want to present the user an option to select sold to party (from only the sold to that is associated with that ship to).

What I've tried:

1) Pop up a model dialog box for sold to after ship to is entered if there are multiple sold to party for that ship to. The issue I found with this I cannot create an event handler to trigger the modal dialogue screen after ship to is populated since the extended fields are on SAP standard screen

2) Create a custom OVS. Didn't work for me because I would need to write script to filter the Sold to results based on the relationship with the ship to...

Any help on how to acheive this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Docelyn,

In general scenarion based on sold to party other parties are determine based on relationship maintain in Account master data - Relationship tab.

There is no option to determine Sold to party based on Ship to party.
