We have a field (Payment Terms) that is available on the Quote and the Ticket Object but not the Opportunity. Is there any way to extend it to Opportunity from Accounts?
What if we want the Payment Terms extending to the Involved Parties tab within the opportunity? I know that if we use the PES Account Gen Info to Opp Gen Info it will bring the payment terms associated with the Account to the opportunity header. In our case, we want it to show in the Involved Parties tab for a custom party role (Organization type) not the main Account.
Requirement - for any party on an opportunity, display its payment terms in the Involved Parties tab. It doesn't need to be stored in the Opportunity, just displayed. Any ideas?
You could create a new extension field and place it on the Involved Parties tab, then you could copy the Payment Terms field value via scripting into the new extension field.
Thanks, Thiago. We reviewed that approach, but unless I am missing something, that would require us to update the opportunity anytime the payment terms change, correct? We don't want to have to maintain the field on the opportunity and keep it in sync with the account. Seems like more attributes of the accounts should be available in PSM to add to the tab. Hopefully SAP will add more fields as options to this area.
