C4C Outlook Add In Not Allowing sync for outgoing email

Hello!

We use C4C Outlook Add in to sync emails and appointments to C4C. We are able to successfully sync and email from our inbox or sent folder.

The SAVE AND SEND EMAIL icon is there for us to use in a new email, however when we choose and account and select this icon, we get an error that states: ERROR WHILE PROCESSING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITES; THE ITEM HAS BEEN MOVED OR DELETED. This occurs on any customer, and the customer is active in C4C and can be synced to via a an email that has been sent or from in box.

Is anyone aware of what may be causing this to occur?

Thanks!

Denise

Hello Denise,

In case it is at all helpful for you, I wanted to let you know that I was also experiencing the same error message in C4C with the Outlook add-in.
I uninstalled the C4C Outlook add-in, and then re-installed it, and now I'm no longer getting that error.

I was getting that error when sending an email from a service ticket in C4C, but still I was using the Outlook Add-in.

See details below. I hope this helps

Best regards,

Jeremiah

Additional details:

Here is a screenshot of the error message I was getting:

Here is what I did to resolve the issue:

  1. I closed Outlook, and logged off C4C.
  2. I uninstalled the C4C Add-in for Outlook, from Add or remove programs
  3. I reopened Outlook, and then deleted the following folders:
  4. I closed Outlook again.
  5. I restarted my computer.
  6. (I did not launch Outlook right away, after restarting my computer.)
  7. I logged on to C4C, and downloaded the Outlook Add-in installer.
  8. I executed the C4C Outlook Add-in installer, and the Add-in was successfully installed.
  9. I launched Outlook, and logged in to the C4C add-in.
  10. I sent an email from C4C, with the "Use Microsoft Outlook" check box checked, and this time I did not get the error when I clicked the "Save and Send E-Mail" button. Rather, my email was successfully sent, and that email was saved in the interactions in the service ticket in C4C.
