Use the mashup web service to get the authentication key and URL of the external API The number of records that a user has found by entering an address on an external website I would like to attach to the field of C4C. However, using mashups, linking to an external website with a link click on the C4C has been successful, but I do not know how to retrieve the records retrieved from the website I've moved. Is there a way to retrieve your zip code when you enter your address? Thank you for your help.
Request clarification before answering.
HI there
Are you trying to send data to the mash-up as well as wanting to retrieve some data back into C4C from the mash-up ( thrid party website) ?
Let me know to help you better.
Thanks,
Suchita

Hi suchita.zag ,
I want to search valid and available addresses around the globe by using postal code in c4c. For this, I want to use web service and retrieve data from third party vendor and populate this data in c4c and use it. Could you please let me know if there is any way to achieve it ? Also, if there is any simple alternative way to do this ?
Thanks in advance,
Saurabh.
Hi dsaurabh67 ,
Yes - It is possible. Can you raise a separate question as your requirement is different to the one in this question ?
When you post the question, please hightlight your exact business requirement = Is it limited only for consuming data from web service - which i think it is - and therefore do not need a mash-up as such & you can consume and call a third-party website using SDK code and update the data in your custom bo or xbo. OR is it something that you need in the form of a mash-up ? (i am not clear from your comment what you need for mash-up )
If you can raise other question and tag me in the comment, I can help and other from community can also help .
Thanks,
Suchita
