C4C How to transfer from client-side Add In to Server Side Integration MS Outlook

Hi colleagues,

You cannot use both the client-side and the server-side add-in for Microsoft Outlook.

If you would like to move away from the client side integration and move towards the server side integration, what is your experience in doing this?

Which steps did you take and what advise do you have with regards to planning and communication? Any lessons learned?

Hi,

There is a page https://help.sap.com/viewer/24765b551a014b779b95c7b07d8e9079/LATEST/en-US/43d40ec0f60746eebaf00b2666... which mentioned the steps to be taken for the migrating from Client-Side to Server Side outlook plugin in C4C.

Hi Saurabh,

Thank you for your feedback. I got the steps clear now.

I do wonder, the functionality was activated by SAP and I answered the scoping question Do you want to enable premium features of Groupware Server Side Integration? I expected that I could immediately select the workcenters of GROUPWARE_INTEGRATION_WFC in the admin business role but I can't. Is there anything I am overlooking?

Hi MJ,

To my knowledge, as soon as the functionality is activated then you should be able to select the "GROUPWARE_INTEGRATION_WCF" in business role. I can't think why this isn't working. Maybe a ticket to SAP might help!
