We don't want to use Resource Scheduler, but the appointment functionality in "Activities" section of service tickets. THis way it's possible to create appointments linked to a ticket.
However it looks like this functionality is very limited and I wonder if there are possibilities for the following things:
1. From service ticket: When creating an appointment, then the field "Location" is empty. If you leave it empty, then it defaults to show the Sold To name & address. - Is it possible to re-configure that this is defaulting to Service location or Ship To partner address?
2. Calendar: Is there a way that appointment in Calendar can include more fields i.e. ticket no. in the header? Through Adaptation the ticket no. is not a field that can be used.
3. Team Calendar: If an appointment is moved with drag & drop from one to another Service Engineer; then the appointment is copied (exists for both Engineers then). Is this a bug or expected functionality? Any way to prevent this happening?
4. Team Calendar: Is there a way to use Week view as well? Looks like only Day View works.
5. Is there a way to restrict access to appointments / calendar entries? (i.e. only allow to edit/delete self created appointments, but not allow touching other's entries)
Any input is appreciated - I was already searching forums and google, but didn't find much about the appointment functionality at all.
