C4C delegation fails to work against code list restriction

Dear All,

Please confirm whether anyone tried C4C delegation functionality between users from two different business roles which has varied code list restrictions?

For example, if Role#1 is code list restricted to status#1, status#2 and Role#2 is not.

When an user from Role#1 is delegated for an user from Role#2, will the user from Role#1 will be able to see the statuses "status#1", "status#2"

Regards,

Keynes

Your observation is correct and this is expected . Codelist restriction doesnt work if the substitue doenst bleong to the same business role as CLR is purely a role based dependency

Also it is a common expectation that the substitute of an emplyee is in general in the same line of the empoyee having similar access .
