[C4C] Custom Task Subject Name Generation if Subject is Blank

When creating a Task, if the subject is empty, the system generates the subject as "Activity Task + Customer Name (if exists)"

I was wondering if we can alter this naming (i.e Date + Task Category) without using PDI. Is it possible via configuration?

Hi,

You can use the newly release feature(2011) "Default Values using Rules". But please note that this feature is phased release and you need an incident to activate it. Attaching the related slide for your reference.

I have activated it. Although it is still in phased release, it does the job very well!
