Dear SAP Community,
is it possible to create a party role for which only employees and not all business partners can be selected?
When we create a business role and for example activate it for service tickets all business partners are shown when adding it to a ticket - we would like to restrict this to employees only.
The C4C standard role "processors" already has this charactericis however, we are not able to replicate this restriction for customer party roles.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
Yes, you can do this by creating a new party role(Finetunning Activies -->Party Role Definition) with party category as "Sales Employee Party".

Once done then define a new involved party (finetunning activities -->Tickets for Customer (or Employee)Support --> Maintain Involved Parties)

Now when you add a new ticket party only employees will be visible/selectable.

Hi Christian,
Are you talking about an employee self service process? Your question is not very clear, nevertheless ideas to tackle this.
Authorisations
Of course users will only see customer, employees related to their own organisation when you have set up the authorisations (read access) for the object account and employees correctly - e.g. related to the sales area data on their employee master data.
Transaction
Be sure that all relevant fields are displayed in your (quick) create page lay out of the service ticket. When you want users, when they create a service ticket, only see a (limited) set of business partners to choose from, you can set up a query. You open the drop down of the field - Advanced Search - Define your query, in case of an employee field this could be a job role or department the are assigned to in the organisational model and then set the query as a default. Every time the drop down in the field is opened a selection of partners is shown in stead of a long list with entries.
