C4C: Copy page laout

Dear Community,

is it possible to copy a C4C page layout? We want to use one as template (a lot of UI changes included) and adapt some things for other user group.

It seems there is no functionality for that, but is there other possibility like export the layout, change name/id in (or whatever) in xml and import it again as new layout?

(just changing name in xml didn't work - it was not recognized as new layout)

Hello All,

Copying an existing page layout is now a possible.

Please find the below steps which needs to be followed:

1. Enter the Adaptation Mode.
2. Switch to "Layout" tab
3. Select the existing Page Layout you wish to COPY
4. now click on the small "Copy Layout" symbol
5. Provide a name for the new Layout and hit SAVE.

Hi Stefan, unfortunately it is not possible to copy a page layout. I don't know why SAP has not developed a so useful and requested feature...
