Hi Guys,
I am new to C4C and have taken training for C4C-Sales .We are doing an implementation project with the help of a partner which interface SAP C4C with SAP RE-Fx module to capture Lead to Sales Process. Right now admin role is assigned to the consultant from implementation partner.
I need SAP C4C Administrator role but only in display mode like we have in S/4HANA Configuration display access. Is there a way this can be done by creating a custom user role in C4C which assigns be Admin work center but only in display mode ? Please let me know if there is any standard role available which allows such authroization.
Looking forward for the reply.
Thanks
Atif

Hello Atif
admin in C4c is treated as a Super role , which will have access to various service/sales/admin related settings under the views assigned in it and access to those indivudal views is given based on on the workcenters of the assigned user and the access of the user
Now if you want to give only a read access, in the business role of the assoicated user under Access restrictions , filter for all with workcenter name as Administrator and choose write access as No Access
Below is an example screenshot of few views wich are restricted with no write access

Hi Prasanth,
Many thanks for your detailed reply, we have done the setting recommended by you but still user can adapt and do the scoping. We want to achieve the same setting as we have in S/4HANA , we allow consultant IMG display access in productive environment by assigning them a role.
We want to achieve the same thing in C4C-Sales. Is it possible to do so ?
Thanks
Atif

It is not posible to exaclty replicatie the kind of access like in S/4 , but you need to check around possibilities to restrict access to business conifguration workcenter , if you wnat to preent some one from making chnages to scope.
Like i mentioned earlier , the above screen shot is just a reference that shos how you can restrict something , but to be specific to your scenarion, you need to see which all views you have to restrict
