Hola Experts

I have some doubts with the activation of the communication agreement SAP_COM_0065 for integrator SAP Marketing Cloud with SAP Analytics Cloud. Should you have a different communication system for each system to be integrated? If the answer is affirmative, does the integrator carry out this configuration or is it the task of the SMC consultant? How is it configured? Because I see that it asks for some URL data, Host UI name, Door, among other data that I do not know.

yes, since the communication data like SAC tenant URL is maintained in Communication System, you have to create a Communication System for each system you want to integrate.

Using the Integration Guide (1SO) that Marc provided it is not a big thing to do the integration if you follow it step by step. So you can also do it if you have right authorizations in the different systems.

Remember:

1. Both systems have to use the same Identity Provider (IAS). So I think the easiest way is if you (or the one who does the integration) have access and the right authorization to all of the needed systems (SMC, SAC and IAS).

2. For the steps carried out in SAC you have to have the role System Owner, which as far as I know always only one person can have. This person also has then the needed URL and can carry out the steps like up-/downloading certificates and so on.
